Ely, NV—In conjunction with Ely’s illustrious group of Ghost Riders, Nevada Northern Railway proudly debuts its first Wild West Limited, steam dinner train, this Sat., June 2nd at 6:30 p.m. A steam locomotive is scheduled to pull the train, which will make a special stop at Keystone Gulch, favorite stomping grounds of this motley group of desperadoes.
The Ghost Riders’ performance, choreographed specifically for the Wild West Limited, will involve passengers in the show. The train ride will also include a Cowboy-style dinner served aboard the train. Prices for the Wild West Limited are $46 (13+); $25 (4-12) and free for 3 and under. Discounted group rates are available for parties of just 12 or more. White Pine and Eureka residents receive a $5 per ticket discount. Member discounts apply, as well. Only one discount offer can be applied per train ride.
The Wild West Limited features an historic train ride into the wild blue yonder of the Old West. The train will take passengers through two tunnels, mountains and countryside. In addition to the chuffing and clanking of the early 1900s steam locomotive rolling along the tracks, passengers will also get to enjoy the clippity clop of horses, cowboys and cowgirls, as well as a Wild West shootout, and a tasty Cowboy-style dinner. It doesn’t get much better than that. Reservations are strongly suggested, as the train has limited seating. At the time of this writing, the train was already half-full.
