These are scale trains, but there are lots of cheap plastic trains that you can setup once a year and run around your tree. They are usually fairly inexpensive, battery powered and the best thing Railroad modelers have to say about them is… “It’s OK of the dog chews that one up”. We’re not covering those, but according to http://Christmas-Train.com, they are all sold out and very hard to find now anyway.
