“Thomas” returns To Puffing Billy! Updated 3/16/2012


The world famous steam train, “Thomas the Tank Engine” will again be visiting Puffing Billy, Australia’s most famous steam train during March 2012.

“Thomas has been a regular visitor at Puffing Billy during Autumn and Spring for over ten years and we are delighted to welcome him back again”, said Nadine Hutchins, Marketing Manager, Puffing Billy Railway.

A series of shows, featuring a real working steam “Thomas the Tank Engine” and “The Fat Controller”, will take place at the Puffing Billy Emerald Station (Melway map 127, E5), a delight for young and old alike.

A special price is available for this series of shows with Adults at Children’s prices.

Admission includes a pantomime show featuring “Thomas” with “The Fat Controller”, a steam train ride, face painting, a jumping castle, a ride on Green Bulgy Bus and a visit to the animal nursery.

This event features up to four shows daily on the weekends of March 3rd, 4th, 17th, 18th, 24th and 25th. Bookings are essential by phoning (03) 9757 0700 or booking online at www.puffingbilly.com.au

There will be many great photo opportunities with “Thomas” in steam, The Fat Controller and Thomas’ friends around the station yard.
