Thomas is a regular visitor to Didcot Railway Centre where he is welcomed by his friends the Great Western engines.
The Fat Controller supervises Rev.W.Awdry’s classic children’s favourite – Thomas the Tank Engine on his ‘Day Out With Thomas™’ visits.
There are rides behind ‘Thomas’ and ‘Duck’ and lots of other entertainment for children.
During the day there are Magic Shows, Punch & Judy and a Circus Workshop. There will be Balloon modellers near the entrance to Didcot Halt for most of the day and throughout the day you can take part in a range of children’s activities in the ‘Imagination Station’. At 11.30am and again at 2.30pm poor ‘Diesel’ will be trying to sort out the ‘Troublesome Trucks’ and you can see ‘Ducks Dilemma’ by the turntable at 1pm.
Don’t forget to collect your free sticker, free gift from Mega Bloks, exclusive ‘Thomas’ temporary transfer and your souvenir Junior Engineer’s certificate signed by Sir Topham Hatt!
A wide range of souvenirs is available in the ‘Thomas’ shop.
There is a Refreshment Room serving lunches, snacks and drinks also a picnic area where you can sit and watch the trains go by.
‘Day Out With Thomas™’ events in 2012 will be on:
