February 3-5 and February 10-12, 2012
Ely, Nevada—Nevada Northern Railway’s Winter Steam Spectacular Photo Shoots offer unique opportunities for amateur photographers to take award-winning photographs, under the direction of professional photographer, Steve Crise. There are two sessions available: Feb. 3-5 and Feb. 10-12. Each session is limited to just 30 persons, in order to ensure freedom of movement, artistic creativity and individual attention. The cost for each two-and-a-half day session is $450, which also includes continental breakfasts and lunches for both days. This is an outstanding opportunity to participate and learn about heritage railroading.
According to the Smithsonian, the Nevada Northern Railway Museum is the best preserved, historic railroad “bar none.” It’s been voted “Best Place to Take Kids” for five years in a row by Nevada Magazine readers. It has also been featured many times on PBS, as well as The History Channel’s “Modern Marvels” and several recent episodes on “American Restorations,” with additional episodes scheduled for the future.
