As a child I road this train with my family every winter with my Dad. The train was shut down in 2009. It would be nice to know what they will do with the train and if it will ever run again.

2011 UNW / Snohomish County 4-H Foundation Show – Monroe, WA
United Northwest Model Railroad Club is proud to announce its 20th annual model railroad show and swap meet to benefit Snohomish County 4-H Foundation February 5 & 6, 2011. It is hosted at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds in Monroe WA. We are back in last year’s 50,000 sq ft venue at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds in Monroe, WA.
What: Train Show & Sale Spring 2011
What is it: Train sale and exhibits regarding railroading and model railroading.
When: March 12th, 2011

The Tehachapi Depot Railroad Museum will be holding an all-day model railroad show on June 18, 2011. We are currently seeking vendors for this twice-yearly event.
More details can be found at our web site. The Friends of the Tehachapi Depot (FOTD) will be selling railroadiana items including books and other railroad-related items. FOTD is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. All proceeds from the show will be used to continue operation of the depot museum.
German Heritage Festival
Saturday, June 25 – Sunday June 26

Welcommen to a weekend of Dancenhoppen, Railriden, Giftshoppen and hands-on history. Enjoy traditional music all day long, dancing with heritage dancers, and a feast of German foods. Kids can participate in Kinderleicht crafts and games with Spike, the railyard depot dog, dressed in his lederhosen and steam-up trains will be rolling throughout the weekend.

Buffalo Bill Days is coming to Golden, and the Colorado Railroad Museum is celebrating with a Wild West Days steam-up, featuring train rides in vintage passenger coaches. Meet Buffalo Bill, Doc Holliday, Big Nose Kate, Wild Bill Hickok, Wyatt Earp and a whole slew of outlaws, lawmen, ladies and gentlemen who will bring the Old West back to life with live reenactments.
Don’t miss the famed 10th Cavalry encampment, fast-draw contests, train robberies and the tent city. Plus meet nationally acclaimed author Reid L. Rosenthal. He’ll be signing his new book “Maps of Fate.”

Colorado Wine and Music Train
Saturday, August 20

Lose track of time while sampling all things Colorado… Colorado wines, music and Colorado’s railroad legacy. Enjoy the gentle rock of the rails as you ride behind the historic No. 346 locomotive in one of our classic passenger cars, while sampling a variety of Colorado wines. The wine tasting is from 11am-5pm for an additional $5 for adults 21 and up.
Live music from Colorado musicians provide the background as you stroll the grounds featuring our vintage locomotives, passenger cars and cabooses.

Clamshell Railroad Days
