FAQ

Q. Where is the Train News?

A. Under our new ‘News‘ tab, we have a feed of train and railroad news articles.  You can get the same from surfing 20-30 websites, but we’ve done it for you and put them all in one place.

Q. What is the Railway Weekender?

A. The Railway Weekender is a weekly listing of all the train and railroad events for the coming weekend that we post and mail out every week. I list everything I can find out about – both full scale and hobby scales – and from all over the world. It is,of course, free! Click on ‘Train Events’ above to get the railway weekender.

Q. I’m with a (insert type of group here) railroad group. Will you talk about what we do?

A. Yes.  We’ve got a couple of ways of covering your group.

Tell us about your group by email, in writing, pictures and/or video.

We -may- talk about your group on a podcast, or come see you and shoot some video for an episode. This mostly depends on time, your location and money. We are after all not getting paid for this, but if we’re coming your way…

We -will- include you in our searchable growing database of Train Groups and Railroad events.  See the Train Finder page for details.

Q. I have a great idea for an episode, what should I do?

A. We’re always looking for good input and will even air a good episode that you have put together yourself.  Story Ideas, Video and Photo Submissions should be directed to neil@traintalk.tv

Q. How did you get started?

A. Train Talk is a project of Neil Enock, a long-time train buff. Neil started in HO when he was a kid and has been a modeler in various gauges since them. Past President of the Alberta Model Engineering Society,  a live steam group in Airdrie, Neil is currently a fan of …  well… All Things Train, and it just seemed like a good  idea.
